The NYD Cáceres 2025 LogoThe logo draws inspiration from a recent experience shared by Bicolanos—rejoicing in hope, enduring in affliction, and persevering in prayer. On the night of October 22, 2024, after days of heavy rain from Tropical Storm Kristine, floodwaters engulfed communities in the Archdiocese of Cáceres. Despite loss and hardship, Bicolanos remained resilient, turning to prayer and trusting in the intercession of Our Lady of Peñafrancia. Through unity and faith, they found hope in Christ and his Church. The three figures in the logo represent these virtues: the person in blue, arms raised, signifies Christ’s joy and hope; the person in green, wading through water, shows endurance; and the person in red, kneeling in prayer, reflects faith and devotion. The logo invites us to live with joy, patience, and faith amid life’s many storms.
“Rejoice in hope, endure in afflictions, persevere in prayer.”Romans 12:12
The NYD Cáceres 2025 ThemeRomans 12:12 calls us to live with joy, patience, and faithfulness—remaining hopeful in trials, patient in difficulty, and steadfast in prayer. For NYD Cáceres 2025, this verse becomes a guiding light for the youth on their shared spiritual journey, encouraging resilience, unity, and a deeper trust in God’s grace. Inspired also by the Papal Bull Spes non Confundit, NYD Cáceres 2025 promotes compassion and justice, raising awareness of social issues like slavery, human trafficking, and inequality. It invites youth to become advocates for human rights and dignity, committing to concrete actions in service of marginalized communities.
